[Mayan EDMS: 2192] Workflow action to email notifications about docs

I am playing around with workflows for our accounting department.
It would be nice if there was a mail action to send a notification with
document link/template to approvers when a document enters the approval
phase, etc.
For now we are playing around with the POST URL action to see if we can
post to an email form.

Is this possible to add?

Now that we added notification this could be added. We could allow users to
receive a notification for an event either via the UI or via email. Another
option is to add a new workflow action for emailing. This last choice would
allow not just sending a link to a document but a whole email with text and
or pictures.
